this is my four photo project, i did flowers and spring colors because i like both of these things, i mad a few other attempts but this is the first on i actually like 

 this is my series of six projects of social injustice, i am a three sport athlete and my entire life since i was about 5 has been about sports, i have tried almost every sport there is, and there is usually something i love about every specific gmae. one of the issues i have is that guys sports are always such a big deal (even when the girls sports at the school are a lot better) I cant stand it so here is my take; Sports are sports what ever gender you are, we all represent our school and all of the trophies have our school's name so why not treat it all equally?

i took the map of rwanda changed it to red and put words that i though described the movie Hotel Rwanda all of these words describe the things the movie made me think of.

i thought of this idea when i couldn't sleep, as far as it turning out as i wanted it to im not too sure, during the night in the movie i saw all of the fire and that really stood out to me, so i tried to make the characters faces through the fire.

The endless summer

this was a photo montage, that i added my own twist to. Instead of having all the pictures make up an image i mad all the pictures the background to an image. IT TOOK ME FOREVER. i can't wait for summer and i think thats why i did this. i reallllyyy like it!

Handy

this hand is a project that we used the layer mask tool, and also filters and messing with the colors. I started off with a lot of photos of hands and each one I got quicker and easier to edit. It worked out pretty well the only thing i wish i had done was to make all the colors work a little better because looking at it now it looks sort of chaotic.. but i still like it a lot (:

butterfly

this was a photoshop user tutorial of making a 3d butterfly, it was pretty easy to follow along with because it was a video, but the 3d on these computers messes up a lot. i want to try and make another one and put in on a 3D background maybe!!

MIDTERM

for this project we had to create an image representing 250 years of Charlottesville, i used images of places ive been and places that i enjoy in Charlottesville, and created some what of a collage.

Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss wrote the first book i ever read.. (hop on pop) and i read almost everyone i could get my hands on after that so this was all the books i could think of with my favorite quote added to it (:

I made this card for valentines day, i really like that picture i think its adorable so that really was my inspiration. and then the brush strokes i thought were pretty interesting.

The truth about forever

the turth about forever is one of my favorite books. and it was a lot easier to make beacause i knew what i was doing, the book is not really said and i think it shows on this cover that it is, (the barbed wires fault)  but on of the characters in the book who shows the main character what forever means works with barbed wire and has a tattoo of the hand in heart.

I have not read this book but i have been meaning to, the book is about, our country after its been taken over, and you compete on boy and girl for your lives, so i thought the tunnel was a good idea because you have to eventually get out (dead or alive). and the arrow because its a fight.

Photofunia.com is a fun site, you have a lot of different pictures to choose from and most of them look great, the issue with the site is sometimes it doesnt get the correct part of your face or just looks really off. Using and already edited photo will probably work best.

The best and worst of LIFE

 

to me this first cover is great. It's simple, not a lot's going on, its clean cut and straight to the point. I think the covers with a lot of colors and a lot going on are hard to focus on and understand. Another thing i like about this picture is the reflection, you can se the picture being taken along with what the person being photographed sees. 

The second one i hate, Its seems like its trying too hard, like someone said "this need to be symmetrical" so the person put two candles and a weird looking piece of food that you can't even tell is a cake. If this cover is about holiday dieting, why would they put something as stupid and simple as this. I almost feel like in this case less is bad, if they had added a few more dishes and moved these candles i would be a lot better looking.

EXTREME SPORT

for this project we chose an extreme sport to invent and i thought of tricycling, its easy and little toddlers do it so why not make it something that toddlers do on giant sand dunes. so here is my Sand Tricycling
